the back of one of the cars grouped together.

lets others know who is running with each group for that day.
We
have a staggered start so that each group should be able to
finish at about the same time and we usually gather with some
water/coffee/bagels to discuss our running and whatever else
comes to mind before going our separate way for the day.

it is shorter than 10.7 but you do Mount St twice.

At the Franklin Village Shopping
Center, park
near Panera's.
Grove-Beaver
loop (rolling)
From
Franklin Village, turn left to cross the Rt. 495 bridge, and left
again on Grove St. 1M at top of crest just before turning left
onto Beaver. Follow Beaver across Rt. 140. 2M just after crossing
140. Turn left on
Oak St. Take the first entrance to the high school parking lot
immediately at the Horace Mann entrance. Along the field,
through the parking lot and with the field house to the right,
head to the back of the school and Panther Way. Turn left on
Panther Way. 3M at end of Panther Way. Turn right on Rt. 140 to
come back to Franklin Village. 3.5 miles for loop.

Hill loop (hill)
From
Franklin Village, turn left to cross the Rt. 495 bridge and go
straight up the new bridge. Turn left at the first light. 1M is
at the top of the crest. Turn left on National Drive and left
again to head to the YMCA. Go through the Y parking lot and out
the other side. 2M at the end of the stonewall just before
heading down the hill. Turn left on Grove St. at the bottom of
the hill. Turn right to go back over the Rt. 495 bridge and the
3M mark is at the entrance to Franklin Village.

140 loop (flat)
From
Franklin Village, turn right follow Rt. 140 into downtown. 1M at
corner of Fisher St. Turn to follow Rt. 140 at railroad bridge
heading along Main St, up to the library and turn left on School
St. follow School St. across Union to Rt. 140, and turn right on
Rt. 140 heading back the way you came. 2M at turn onto Rt.
140. Finish at Franklin Village (3M) or pick up another loop to
continue your run.

From
Franklin Village, cross RT 140 to head for Pond St. Follow Pond
St. 1M between Overlook and Dailey. Turn right on Oak St. 2M
just before coming down slope approaching Franklin High School.
Stay on Oak until last entrance to parking lot for high school
(just at Horace Mann bus entrance). Through the parking lot and
with the field house to the right, head to the back of the
school and Panther Way. Turn left on Panther Way. 3M at end of
Panther Way. Turn right on RT 140 to come back to Franklin
Village. 3.5 miles for loop.

you arrive late for one loop, start it in reverse of the normal
direction and you’ll eventually meet the group to turn around
and run with.

loops also allow for combinations. You can choose to include or
exclude the hill loop. You can mix and match the loops to
combine them for whatever works for you.
